I like the English Afterthought: A concoction of muddled blueberries and ginger with Gin and St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur. Prim and proper; gin and sin walk hand in hand in this cocktail. Dress code enforced: no shorts, jerseys, ball caps, flip-flops, sandals, tennis shoes, t-shirts, collarless shirts, or baggy jeans to keep out the riff raff....Dress accordingly. by Ashlea Blihovde on I have been to Front Page News many, many times over the years and it is still an alright place to hang out for Happy Hour. I like it a lot more for drinks than for food - I was never thrilled with their menu selections and I have always thought the items I did order were just OK at best. It is a nice space - I like the patio and the upper and lower bars. It's cool when they have live music but it can get crazy crowded in the area near where the musicians play. Actually, the whole place can get very crowded and it can be quite annoying to try to make your way through the crowd. But, I guess that's because people do like to come here. The worst part about it being so crowded is that the women's bathroom gets a really long line and there is really no place to line up for the bathroom. I do enjoy sitting on the patio in good weather and they have good bloody Marys. I recommend this place for drinks only, particularly on the patio or inside if you want to listen to the live music.
