by Adrianna C. on I saw this place on the Travel Channel & I really was excited to finally come. It was $47 a person (not including drinks), and the food they serve is great, but not enough by any means to fill you up, so I would for sure not recommend coming really hungry, like I did. The staff was super nice & funny, just didn't seem like they were very organized much. But the atmosphere was worth with.
by Tiffany T. on I visited Le Cercle with a group of girlfriends and it was my first time at a Korean club where they "booked" girls. Having never experienced it before, the night was a pretty shocking experience as we were dragged almost nonstop from table to table, meeting drunk, red-faced strangers that we had little interest in talking to. I find the whole thing so awkward; in my opinion, it's actually far simpler to just hang at a cool bar or lounge and approach somebody rather than try to meet people this way. But I can see how the formula might work well for guys or girls who are too shy or uncomfortable doing that as this situation practically forces you to interact, without seeming like you want to. With that said, Le Cercle itself is a vast space with lots of strobe lights and decent music, and if you want to avoid getting booked, just escape to the dance floor.
by Walton Gobern on Mighty is awesome. I'm far from being a club rat, so for those of you who have been sheltered like me this is great music and dance venue. This is my spot. I came in from a cold and rainy Saturday night (02.02.2008) to listen to one of my favorite DJs, Miguel Migs. He also has a band called Petalpusher with vocalist Lisa Shaw. No luck with that tonight... This is a great venue to listen to DJs Miguel Migs and Julius Papp. Excellent free parking. Cheap cover at 10 bucks. Friendly bartenders. Excellent sound system. 2 bars. Huge bathrooms. And a huge huge dance floor. Mind the step! I tripped even after knowing in advance to watch for it based on the reviews. I was too enthralled to see Papp at the tables... I came in early at 10pm. It was empty. I can't wait to see this place after midnight....
