by Willena Burhanuddin on Well, if you want a happening cheesy and touristy place on Ocean Drive, Mango's is the place for you. At night scantily clad women and men await you at the entrance to lure you in if the loud music already doesn't. The place does get packed and crazy but it has cheesy written all over it. Bottom line: Lively place to drop by once to get a full South Beach experience at night, but this place definitely doesn't fall into the ultra hip and cool list of South Beach.
by jenny h. on came here last night for PB Wolf. this is one of my favorite non-mainstream spots in the city - but it really depends on what night. thursdays (root down) are always fun and i think i've been on a saturday. can't remember. i think they renovated the bathroom? because it used to be just 1 stall but now there are 2. yay! the crowd is good, the music is good; last night was really crowded though, and there was no ventilation! but still a good time. plus, the hot dog cart lady outside is not to be missed!
