I came here for my 30th birthday back in Dec. '07. First off, the area is HELLA GHETTO, yo. I don't think I've ever been to another club in such an area that was straight tore up from the floor up. I figured, "ahh, it'll be all good once I get inside with all of my peeps." So one of my friends and I got in with no problem whatsoever. Then we turned back to see that our other friend wasn't right behind us. We then got a call from that particular friend telling us that the doorman wouldn't let him in because of his shoes. To tell the truth, I hadn't even noticed my friend's shoes before we got to the club. When I looked around in the club, I saw guys wearing less than dressy shoes up in that piece. I was like, "damn, are these cats forreals?" Anyway, I didn't want to leave my other friend behind, so after saying hello to a couple of other friends I had invited there for my birthday, I bounced after only being in the club for about 15 minutes. When I got outside, I looked at my friend's shoes. Sure, they were of the Timberland suede/nubuck variety, but I honestly didn't think they were that bad, especially compared to some of the other kicks I saw other dudes sporting in there that night. F-ing hater a$$ doormen... So thanks to that incident, my 30th birthday was a total "meh" experience. And after reading these other reviews, it looks like other folks have their own reasons for dissing this place. So based on my own experience, and other Rateclubers' reviews, I don't plan on coming back here...ever.

We checked out this spot on a Saturday night and it was okay. They had two rooms, the larger one playing hip-hop and a smaller room playing house. It had a funky vibe about it. Maybe it was the sleezy old men up in here??? Or was it the cute boys that had the "blank deer with headlights" look?? It was good, cause the promoters from Whiskey Park took care of us. But I would be angry if I paid money to go here.

Interesting experience. You eat with your hands. We got the sampler plate so we can try everything. It's worth it to try at least once. Although the food was tastey at first, I got tired of it near the end. Maybe because the wrap has a sour taste to it, making it kind of hard to eat as time went on. It was pretty spicy too. My friend was unable to eat it, however, I like spicy food. The honey wine was interesting, sort of like sweetened beer. Definitely go try it! I was able to drink it, and I'm not a beer drinker at all! Parking might be a bit tough.
