Horrible. Food, service, everything. I was really excited to take my boyfriend here for the first time since I loved my visits to the Alpharetta location and was excited there was one so close by! However, I was so, so disappointed. We went for lunch and were seated accordingly and were told our server would be with us shortly. We waited for a while before our waitress, whom I didn't even get her name because she never gave it, asked us what we wanted to drink. We already knew we wanted an appetizer (queso fundido) but she ran off to get our drinks instead of asking us about an app. She ran off again after delivering the drinks and my boyfriend and I just decided to look over the menu, thinking she'd be back in a second. We waited 10 minutes for her to show up and ask us if we needed more time. Obviously we didn't.. we ordered the app and our entrees and hoped for the best. She was the only server who looked like she was in the weeds.. but being in the service industry myself, I couldn't really tell why she was because there were only like six tables that she seemed to be waiting on. We waited and waited.. and waited... and waited. And started to notice people coming in after us getting their entrees. WE WAITED TWENTY MINUTES FOR QUESO. Digging into that as soon as possible, we waited for our entrees. And waited. And waited. Another twenty minutes had gone by and we hadn't seen our food in the visible server window as the kitchen is part of the dining room. What did we order that took so long? THREE TACOS AND AN ORDER OR TACQUITOS. Our server never talked to us. Never bussed our appetizer until we asker her to. Never refilled our drinks until we pointed out they were empty. Finally, I asked for our food to go and wanted to know why it took so long. After getting a foggy answer and the queso taken off our bill, still leaving us with a $28 bill, we left and decided we'll never be back. Long live Taqueria del Sol.

Ok so my sister and I have been planning on coming here since last year. Her old roommates brother works security and it was her birthday so we had an easy in (she was only 20 at the time). Anyways her brother is nowhere to be found so we try and sweet talk the guy NO GO... We ended up at the knitting factory... Fast Forward to Fri night and here we are so I made sure Leena has put us on the guest list. We got there around 10pm and the line had already started growing... So we waited patiently... They finally started letting people in but then there were the people who were "VIP" (That means they paid $1000 for bottle service Ok...) So we finally got to the front and they checked our I.D.'s then let us in. The girl at the front looks at us and says $20 we were like NO we were on the list... Then she says you were supposed to get a ticket so we go back outside and that door guy was like what list... So Leena tells him and he looked annoyed but gave us the tickets Cool... Then we also got a complimentary vodka drink... Nice so far... Then as the night progressed we saw the people that were coming in we felt like we did not fit in. Sooo the music also started well (a lot of old school which I LOVE) and then took an odd turn to some techno mix... Note some songs just can't be made into techno... We went out to the smoking area which seemed to have a better and friendlier vibe... All in all Not a bad place BUT have been to better especially for the $$ you are expected to dish out and being in Hollywood... It looked more fun when the cast from the real world was there...

If you want to get funky and shake your booty but don't want to dress up and don't want to spend much money, this is the place to go. Especially on Tuesday nights when it's funk night. The DJ brings out the 70's and 80's grooves you may have forgotten about.  Who doesn't like a little MJ throwback?   It doesn't get going until about 11pm.  Don't expect a singles scene. The crowd is not for beautiful people only.  Bring your own toilet paper and/or travel size seat covers. The bathrooms are pretty yucky (think MJQ.)
