I think there is a serious correlation between the amount of food you get and how late at night you come. For example, I've come here at 6 PM, right after dropping my friends off at Emory, and I thought the portions were on the small size (I got the triple stack of chocolate chip pancakes) given the price. However, in the middle of pulling an all nighter over finals week, I came here at2 in the morning and ordered the same exact thing. OMG. I SWEAR the pancakes were spilling over the plate they were served on. at least 50 percent bigger than the pancakes I had gotten a few weeks. back. It actually follows one of my dining rules really well, the less crowded a restaurant is, the better the food will be. Now for the pancakes themselves, Its pretty hard to mess up pancakes. The pancakes here are always cooked evenly. Theyre soft and moist. But i do feel that the batter itself is too heavy, and pancakes could use more chocolate. If your ordering chocolate chip pancakes, you SHOULDN'T need to use syrup as well. It should be sweet enough without the syrup. The omlets here are actually pretty good. I'm surprised no one has mentioned that before. Compared to the other diners around me, namely city cafe, and the broadway diner, this place blows it out of the water. However, if you can make it to IHOP while they have their unlimited pancake deal going on, just go there instead. The quality is about the same.

You LA people are spoiled with awesome clubs! As for myself, an ex-big clubber from SJ to SF, clubbing was just as good as it got here...until I hit up VANGUARD. So, the other only time I went "Ay Zee eN" clubbing was at Boss, SF and I was the second tallest person there. I come here, and there's at least 25 people taller than me! It's fun because the music is awesome and the drinks are apparently strong! there's a ton of people so that's fun :) There's hip hop and house music/electronic/trance/etc. And...they don't play that mixed Michael Jackson/Milk shake song!!! WOOHOO!!! The outdoor patio is huge...HUGE. The down sides, everyone's short. Tall people should avoid this place. Maybe it was just me and I'm not used to seeing so many Asians in one spot, but I seriously felt like I wasn't in America. Where did these Asians come from? A lot of the girls looked Tila Tequila-esque (apparel, dancing, make up, hair, girl on girl action) and I didn't pay too much attention to males who were shorter than me. L.A. is a different land from NorCal.

Sorry to disappoint the fans out there who thought this was an original idea. It's the same as the Fado in Austin and the same as the one in Chicago. It's nothing new, really, except that this Fado is not in the middle of a bustling downtown area. It's in the middle of a construction pit! The Buckhead location is convenient for me, so I'll be here all the time. Needless to say, I still love it. Love love love the 3 levels, the roof (except there is no view) and the decor. Everything is new, even the crowd. It's nice to see new faces out and about. Bartenders are friendly, too. I never went to the old Fado's, but this one does have good parking. Oh, and the best thing? It's smoke-free!
