by Dee M. on There isn't a better place for Tex-Mex than in Texas. I love avocado, and the guacamole here is full of it. The appetizer portions are big enough for a meal. I had the poquito chicken flaquities, and between those and all of the chips and salsa (you get two kinds) - I was stuffed.
by B. Jane G. on went to a show here last night. if i didnt like the groups, and the DJ wasnt killing it, the place would have sucked, obviously. VDRK hosted & it was sick. I'd go back if they did another party there, but no i would not go back otherwise. so basically the place gets 1 star, but i had such a good time i just pushed it to 3.

Its all about people from campus and the surrounding areas converging on drinks, apps, and some of the best bar style tex mex in the area. Overall the Mexican martinis are usually the best thing to order, and they will definitely cut you off after you've reached the limit of two. Don't try any funny business or they'll kick your butt to the curve. Tipping the bartenders always goes a long way if you're sitting at the bar and even on a busy night you can be guaranteed good service and a lively environment.
