Our dinner was great! I had only heard good reviews and now I know why. The restaurant itself was very nice and the live piano music added nice ambiance. The prime rib roast did not disappoint and the fall savings prix fixe was just right. I would definitely go back and this time order off the regular menu to enjoy MORE of the delicious prime rib. I think the only disappointment was the tiny "family style" side portions. We had a table of 10 and ordered 4 sides and each person only had about 3 green beans, 2 fries, a tablespoon of mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. I would suggest ordering more sides or for the restaurant to tailor their sides to the size of the table.

Came here on Friday night with my 2 girlfriends for a night out in the valley. Now, when I think of going to the valley to party & let loose, I'm always skeptical. But I guess Sherman Oaks/Studio City is always one up. Parking around here is difficult, but that doesn't really phase me anymore. We sat out on the patio and there was no cover to get in. I mean, who would pay a cover to get into a completely empty bar/restaurant? Our server was nice and cute! I was shocked that she did us a service by giving us complimentary iced water. Apparently they only sell bottled water? Happy Hour prices were cool. All Appetizers half-off, and well-drinks/select wines for $4. None of the food stood out, but quesadilla, chips/salsa, calamari & veggie platter were decent. The Spinach/ARtichoke dip was SO SO SO SO SO salty. But I kept eating it!! Happy Hours are evil! Anyway, this place has potential, but I'm not quite sure what it's going for - mexican-themed? or hip hop club at night? Maybe it needs more promoting? And what's with the red carpet in the front? Thanks, Tony H. for recommending this place. I"ll have to come back on a dance night and update my review :)

My first time to this place was just after 7am one weekday morning. They were just opening up and the owner was still getting things ready. He was very friendly and after my order was concerned about when I had to be at work due to the time to make the croissants. I told him I was fine but he was still kind and gave me a free choice of pastry. I got the raspberry croissant and it was divine. The ham and cheese croissants were also excellent. I went back with my fiancee for lunch one day and was slightly less impressed with the sandwiches. There were only two selections for vegetarians and my fiancee wasn't all too impressed with hers. It was kind of disappointing that there wasn't a vegetarian soup on the menu regularly and the only ones rotated as the soup of the day. Overall I'm impressed with this place other than being hidden by the CVS pharmacy and being cash only.
