by Jacob Sawinski on I live really close to Busby's so you'd think I'd go a lot but there are a few things that detract me. There is a cover past 10 but the bouncer seems to arbitrarily decide when he is going to charge my friends and I and when we can get in free. Also, it gets SO hot there that often times my friends and I leave just to get air. It's a little unpredictable when it comes to how busy it is and the crowd but I've certainly had some good nights there. The bartenders do pour a strong drink and the 80s cover band is a lot of fun on Fridays. If you like a big dance floor and some pool/darts it's definitely worth checking out but not somewhere I go on a regular basis--but I'm more of a lower key venue person in general!
by Rich M. on This place is awesome. I came here about a month ago with a group of friends and I absolutely loved it. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. They didn't have live music the night we were there but I hear it rocks when they have the band playing. Oh, the food.....I gotta tell you, I had the best chuletas (fried Pork Chops) I ever had here and the Cuba Libres were smokin'. My friends all had different dishes and they all looked and smelled great. The decor is really interesting. It gives you an idea of what a Dominican restaurant on the beach is like. I am a big fan of this place and will be returning.
