The fact that I'm reviewing Tenjune will automatically reveal you that even the classic most? exclusive clubs in the City will some day low their expectations and let almost everybody to get in. And don't get me wrong. I'm not supporting exclusivity, as its not a warranty of getting the best "stuff", and I consider myself very very well. I'm great and fabulous not to mention how very good looking I am*. But without a contact to get in, I don't belong to the crowd that this clubs are usually demanding that in many cases I can't be other than really grateful. It happens that the party promoter that I like to contact when I'm in a clubbing craving is now working on Tenjune. On a Saturday night at 1240, people was insanely disorganized surrounding the door with a anxious look to capt the attention of the guys at the door. I don't think it works as still it looks like you need to know someone, which as I mention in this review's headline is not that difficult but it creates the feeling: "how lucky you are if we like you" Said this, is a fact that clubs are like that. You can like it or not. But once inside, if your objective in life is other than to be over-proud on Monday in front your coworkers as you was able to get into "the hottest club in the City" during the weekend, you will judge by yourself and have an opinion about how worth it is to come back. Extremely unworthy. Overcrowded. The music was bad. Girls around jumping crazy just because they are living her dream. Stepping over you. Pushing. Splitting her drinks on my beautiful pants. Pushing me violently against the cute guy behind that nicely embrace me to avoid I finished on the floor saving me of a sure death**. The only cute guy by the way. Guys think you are something that they can just pick up like in the grocery store. Forget style, manners, respectful people, nice looking place, good drinks and the music wasn't good either (yeah I just want to pointed out this fact again) Kiss&Fly or Pink Elephant, sharing some common characteristics, at least play great music, it doesn't look like a cave and I always could find a small spot where I get lose just dancing. -------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------- * please, keep your comment for yourself. **I'm maybe dramatizing a little bit .. maybe

So I went here for my bday this past Friday. Came with about 20 friends. It was a little complicating with the guest list, but we all got in. I think it is a lot easier if you have a table. They hassled some of my friends that weren't on the guest list or table list, but eventually let them in. We reserved a table outside along with a few bottles go Goose. The table was nice, very spacious. The only drawback was the price. $400 a bottle plus gratuity is a little steep, but still not Vegas steep. Our hostess was friendly and cute. My friends seemed to like the cigarette girls. I don't smoke so they were only good to look at. The venue was very spacious and well decorated. I was pleased with the ambiance. The dance floor was a little small, but there was still room to dance on and around it. I'm not sure if it was a special night or not, but there was a girl giving sample drinks at a fondue table. They had a taco stand too, which was free. All you had to do was tip. That's pretty cool if every night is like this. The music was ok, your normal pop/hip hop party music. The crowd was mixed racially and in general upscale, I didn't see any "ghetto" people. Everyone seemed to be pretty good looking also, but I had quite a few drinks. The bad...........My friends lost their purses and jacket. They left them at the table and somehow they went missing. I'm surprised this happened at such a nice place. The good thing was they didn't have much cash and didn't bring their credit cards. The bad thing was that my friends jacket was a $900 jacket. Not sure why she left a $900 jacket at the table. I guess she figured no one would take it since it was at our table. The problem was that late in the night, random people started to sit at our table. We didn't find out the stuff was missing til 2am when the place closed. The security was not helpful and was very rude. They looked like a bunch of guidos too with their greasy hair and drenched cologne. Overall a pleasant experience, I had a blast until the end. It's one of the better clubs I've been to in Hollywood. I give it 3.5 rounded up because of the rude security.
