by Kate P. on Webster Hall is a great venue - lots of space to dance and actually see the artists when they perform (from the floor or the balcony). Body and Soul party was a blast. Music was rokin, Great vibe, good dancing, awesome people.
by Brian P. on I came here with one of my best friends to check out the LA scene. We came here after another bar doubted we were 21 and being from New York they believed they were fake ID's. So we just decided to turn the corner and ran into Busby's. There were no lines so we got right in with no problem. The place had a real chill feel to it, with not many people. We grabbed a couple of drinks and hit some billiards. At one point, some guy asked to play the winner so he played me. I ended up beating him. The thing we didn't know about this guy is that he was Mark Salling from Glee. I don't watch the show but my buddy told me a couple months later who he was so I thought that was kinda cool. Overall we had a chill time and I would go back next time I'm in LA.
by Vonnie Bodford on I came to bOb on Friday, July 18 @ 7:30pm because I wanted to check the place out and decide if I want to have my party there!! Maaan, I ended up leaving at 2:00 in the morning!!! The music from the time I stepped into the venue was on point especially. They played R&B/reggae/Hip-hop/Old skool rap r&b classics. They even mixed in some Madonna and Journey in there!! Although the place was small, it wasn't uncomfortable and I am a big fan of original brick walls and they got'em. The drinks range from $6-$10 dollars, the crow was diverse and nice looking, people came into the bar DANCING!! Everyone was there to have a great time! There wasn't a bathroom line and there was enough seating because everyone was UP dancing!! One of the highlights was when Fatman Scoop (HOT 97 on-air personality) was their just relaxing and did an impromptu "performance" LOVED IT!!! I waited to write a review on rateclubs until I visted a second time. That was yesterday Friday, August 1. Went with a couple of very CLOSE friends from Maryland and they BOTH enjoyed it . Music was on point-drinks were on point-atmosphere was on point. This is mos def my favorite place in the L.E.S
