by Kathy D. on I definitely preferred Hiro over Circle. Arrived around 1am. Didn't have to pay cover since our friend knew people at the front. People were definitely just starting to arrive, which is crazy since SF is usually about to start their party at that time! The decor is Japanese themed and it had a nice glowing red vibe to the club. Paper lanterns and acrobats in the middle of the night were definite cool touches to the NYC nightlife. There is an upstairs balcony section, which was probably for the table service. I loved the decor of the club. Drinks were strong and is your standard NYC prices. I don't recall seeing an automatic 20% gratuity tip unlike Circle though. Unless I was completely out of it! It hit the buzz level definitely! I rather downed the drinks then hold it around since the girls always kept pushing and shoving as usual! It was definitely more spacious than Circle though. Music was awesome. Definitely upbeat. I never heard the same song twice! It was Korean Night last Friday night, when we went. This definitely makes me more curious into NYC nightlife for the next time I visit!
by Edward v. on Some friends invited us for wine and appetizers at Heritage Wine Company and it was a delightful evening. The decor, clientele, wine selections and the assortment of appetizers are all very chic and civilized. Highly recommend the trio of dips, salad and pizzete appetizers. They even have their own chef which translates into how serious they are about the food selections. Very nice place for connecting with friends.
by Yvette Hofstra on finally made it to this place after two years of wanting and, oh man, is it awesome. ten dollar cover sucks, but you won't have to pay for a drink (or sit through a dance long enough to drink it). fyi, the men here actually dance... and it's really hot.
