by Taye N. on RACIST BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS RACIST BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS I went on Thursday 1/21, The girl doing the guest list is racist. The have 1 to 1 ratio for men and women. I have no problem with that. Our group 2males and 1female. They let the my female friend in and then told us there are too many guys. So we have to wait til more females to enter. They rejected other guys too but mainly Asian guys. However groups of whites have no problem what so ever to getting into the club. Wtf? Racist club. Then another group, 2males and 1female (white) the girl let them all in include both guys. I approach the girl I ask her how come you let them all in there 1 girl and 2 guys. She told me I can't split them apart. I asked her, why did you split me and my female friend apart? She inside by herself for 25mins already. The bouncer approach me and said, next time you guy should come together. I replied, we came at the same time and got in line at the same time. They bouncer told me to shut up and wait. Racist, Racist, Racist, Racist place, dont give them your business
by Desiree N. on I went to lunch here- what a scene! First of all the place was PACKED. Of course, the interior was so much fun- we sat upstairs in these cool swinging basket chairs that overlook the main floor which has awesome seating. This place makes you think you are living in the 50's. I had the green submarine sandwhich which was delicious and very different. One thing you MUST do- order shoestring fries. They aren't on the menu but if you ask them for it they bring it to you and they are served with this mustard sauce and are absolutely amazing! I can't get enough of it. I haven't been on the roof deck but I heard this place is so much fun to get drinks at.
by Lurlene Darling on Though I live three blocks away, it took me two-plus years to finally take the Ruby Skye plunge. We saw the Crystal Method. I was actually pretty impressed with the venue. It's in a pretty old theater with a great sound system. The sound was crisp, and not just blaringly loud. Beers were $6, and strong Sapphire and tonics were $9. Not cheap by any stretch, but reasonable for a mega-club. After last call it was $5 bottles of water in shampoo bottles (which my dirtbag friend kept refilling in the bathroom). I went outside at 2:00 to crack a Steel Reserve around the corner, and surprisingly I was let back in. I don't know if I just slipped through the mayhem or whether they have in-n-out privileges. Regardless I made it back in time to dance like a retard for another half hour or so. Thumbs up.
