by Cleta Steinau on My friends and I met here for Happy Hour during the week. We split a large pizza which was tasty, but not very warm. I think they were busier than they had expected and so the service was rather intermittent. It was extremely noisy and crowded on the patio. A group was waiting to take our table when we showed signs of leaving, and I was distracted and goofed on the tip. I felt so remorseful. Next time, I think I will just drink the drinks. The Chilango Maragrita, a spicy orangey frozen margarita rimmed with salt and red pepper flakes was the best I have had. It was a perfect balance of tangy and spicy. The house on the rocks is wonderful. I could actually taste the tequila and I must say it tasted quite good.
by Coral Losh on Came here for surprisingly a company's holiday party.. I had t say that I had a lot of fun!! The food is just ordinary in my taste.. a little small in portions. But, the drinks especially those "saketini".. LOVED them!! The place is rather small but cozy. The show (like others said... those divas knows how to work it!!) and the service are outstanding. The only thing is that after we paid, we were rushed to get out of the place or to go to their lounge in the basement because they need to set up for new customers. All and all.. it is a good place to have fun and party.
by jay c. on So I hit King King a few weeks back to see a bunch of bands all playing to celebrate someone's birthday. My buddies from the unconquerable Cityzen were playing second to last. The venue itself is pretty nice, I was pleasantly surprised by the openness and bar accessibility. Drinks were a bit pricey but hey its a music venue so what do you expect? I think King King is normally a club with the BOOM BOOM BOOM crowd which doesn't fit my fancy but if you check online and see that there's something of interest at King King, go check it out!
