by Reagan Zhang on we had fun here, but in an amusement sort of way, kinda like midget porn is fun but not something I want to get involved with. the interior is great to look at. hated the music and the crowd was... reminds me of dallas. it's nice to see folks getting dressed up to dance, but I don't do that any more. we had cheap drinks and did have a good time (beer was $2 for blue moon/shiner/dos equis) I might go back and get real drunk and get thrown out. btw, we were waiting for a show at emo's to start and not exactly dressed up, I had the whole slacker look going on and had no problem w/ dress code.
by Ali P. on We were in town for a convention and this was recommended to us. Loved the ambience and loved they do the cheese and meats board. We had a wonderful meal here and a nice server. I do think the wine list was just odd. I found 1 wine that I was really interested in and it appeared to me the server did not know too much about wine. When you are ordering expensive wine you would think a sommelier would appear so they need to work on that. But, great martinis and great food! Nice place. Worth for sure to check out!
by nice m. on There was a little confusion on the Will-Call line and the people who already got their tickets. It was my first time at Bimbo's. I was there to watch James Morrison last 6/12/07. Very pretty inside with the tables surrounding the dance floor. I got to stand near the stage and took videos and photos as much as I wanted. They didn't check our bags or anything. It was a smooth Friday night for me and my friend. Kudos! Unlike other clubs that have you actually leave your camera and pay for certain amount of money for them to keep the camera while the concert is going, Bimbo's didn't care at all. They wanted us to enjoy the night with good food and music and nice people.
