by Hank Ploude on This review is only for the venue and the bar. I didn't order food here. Drinks are pretty average; neither weak nor strong. Pricing seems on par for the city -- $7 for gin and tonics, $8 for vodka redbulls and sub-$5 for beers on tap. They must add some sort of weird tax because my totals always come out with some cents involved ($7.05, $12.22, $8.08). Dance floor is pretty big and the DJ wasn't bad. Music got ear-piercingly loud after 10pm... not cool. I like The Triple Crown better as a lounge (as it seems to be up until 10) than as a club. There are only two bathrooms and there was usually a line four or five people deep. The re-entry "hand stamp" was written with a sharpie... kinda annoying the day after... and the day after that... 3.5 stars rounded down.

After asking around, my bf was able to hook us up with this guy who promoted for this club. We weren't sure were able to get in but we did. The best part is we got in for free since we had connections and there was free alcohol till a certain time. We took advantage of it and had a great time. The venue is unlike any I've been to in LA or Vegas. Its different. There are two floors. Music was great. Dance floor was so small. Most of the venue was for people who were just drinking and sitting down. It was packed and we had such a great time!
