by Shoshana Gresl on A-ok place for a happy hour especially in the billiard room. The dining area is a little awkward because it encompasses dining tables and huge tv screens around the bar area. At least to me it's a tad annoying to have people standing around your table watching sports while you eat. With this saying, I wouldn't recommend this as a dining place but a happy hour hang out in the billiard room over drinks.
by Janet T. on This place is a JOKE! If I could give this place zero stars then I would. This place is TOTALLY not worth it! Not by any standards!! I'm not a local so you must understand why I chose to go to LAX. I heard great things about this club and it also helped that DJ AM owned this joint. but boy was I in for a huge shock! To my disppointment, this place was super dingy on the outside, it looked like a small seedy building that had no signs indicating it was a club at all. When I got there, I noticed it was "ghetto" night and with it, came the egotistical big head promoter! He seriously had some power trip and held the line outside for a good hour before letting anyone in. We figured that since there were only 7 girls in my party with 13 guys, the promoter suggested that if we wanted to get in then we'd have to get two tables which only allowed 10 guys in and the rest had to pay. After standing in line for 10 mins we decided to just ditch the line and do the table service. Geez never again!!! Walked into the club, super small, NO ONE was there, super old and grimey, they only had 1 bar and our sitting area was SUPER small. The waitress who helped us only poured 5 drinks and left for the rest of the night but they had the audacity to charge us 20% tip?! WTH...I'll give you a tip - don't go here because you'll be really disappointed! I'm not a disgruntled customer, just forewarning EVERYONE to save their $$ and head to a nearby club if you want to experience a nicer club.
by today y. on More than middle of the road 3 stars because this is like the ONLY place except for annoying Jillians that shows PPV boxing fights. There are at least 4 good size TVs including a big projection type, enough room to move around for a decent view of one or two of them, service at the bar was fast, and the $20 cover not bad/what you'd expect. It's a run of the mill type Irish divey bar. Was a good place to watch the fight because,being the only place around for that, everyone is there to do the same. For this reason alone, which is all this review is based on, it's great.
