I've been here a few times. I've always enjoyed myself. Its been a while since I've been but I plan to return. I just have to comment on these NYers who think the whole world evolves around their personal experiences. Why do NYers think that everything they do is the template and anything or anyone that is different is somehow wrong? I just had to bring that out for the two NYers who dogged the place b/c it wasn't like their experience in NY. Anyway, I enjoyed it. I've taken friends who've come to visit there and they've liked it. The service isn't the best and I do hate that they will play a CD between sets, which has lasted over an hour. I say try it out. It may not compare to the jazz clubs in NY but then again, you aren't in NY.

This is the late night, I just got done drinking and I have the munchies joint. Its so close to a good amount of bars that a line is usually formed around 2am-3am. Its always an interesting experience and I have had some great times and conversations up at the Majestic. The food is good enough but it is pretty much just a pricier Waffle House. My service was slow one of the times but they offered my table free milkshakes, deserts and coffee! We didn't mind staying the extra time... and it was great that they offered something for our time! Its a 3 star sober rating, and a 4 star wasted rating.

A lounge hidden on the third floorof a random K-town building, this place definitely pleasantly surprised me with its swank-ness. I went there on two occassoins - once on a Sat night with a large group and once on a Sunday night with two other friends. On Saturday, the place was packed (take your best guess at the crowd) and there was club-style music playing. The Sunday night was a lot more chill. Being one of the few customers, we sat at the bar, listened to slow R&B, and ordered the lychee-sojutini (yummy!) to share. The bartender gave us a complimentary plate of fruits and Hypnotiq shots, and we reciprocated with good tip. A very versatile spot, depending on the night.
