I waited to write my review because although I enjoyed it the first time, I got my food halfway through my second Mexican martini and was unsure if I liked the food or it was the tequila tasting. I'm happy to report the food is good. I got the special shrimp tacos. Big pieces of shrimp in a tasty blue corn breading, but what probably made this dish was the cilantro dressing. SOOO good. Also, our second trip we conveniently planned on a Monday, $5 MEXICAN MARTINI MONDAY! These drinks were great and you get a lot. The first time we went I didn't think it was a bad deal at about $9, $5 is a steal. Just one of these and I was walking home feeling pretty good. Laid back atmosphere, good food and great drinks.
by jenna l. on DNA lounge is not my favorite venue in san francisco. I'm not sure what I don't like about it, but it rubs me the wrong way. There's always some bullshit drama between a customer and a security guard. Or weird dudes trying to hit on you. There are some good artists that play here, so if you can get a free ticket, it's worth going.
by Burton Vay on This place has three different dance floors and a two VIP areas. The music was top 40 which I like. I had a great time here. They also have great promotions like when the Playmate of the year came and signed Playboys for free.
