4.5 stars- What a cool place. Love the smell of animal flesh being cooked over an oak fire grill. Drinks are easy to get as you wait for your table at the bar. Table seating happens fast with a reservation so drink up Shriner's! The wine list is extensive and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I had the chef's tasting and the serving sizes aren't the American colossal we are all used to but enough to leave you satisfied. My dinner mates who ordered entrees off the menu had sizeable portions. Everyone was very satisfied with the extremely competent and knowledgeable servers. They were attentive but not overly so. Just a great place to take friends and family!

The burgers are pretty spectacular. The ambiance is warm and rustic. The bartenders and wait staff are always nice. The beer selection is varied and pretty much standard fare for most places. I always feel welcomed when I'm there. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice watering hole.

I feel sorry for anyone who paid $150 - $200 per ticket to come here for "OPEN BAR" between 9pm and 2am. We paid $40 to come at 12:30. Even then, the price was not worth it. The bartenders were charging for drinks, and probably pocketing the cash. My boy, P, asks for 5 Heinekens, "Yo how you doin' man, 5 Heinekens please." (Bartender extends his hand expecting some money, my boy hands him a $100 bill. Bartender returns w/drinks, and $60 in change). "How much were the beers?" Bartender: $5 each! Any one of you can do the math here, he should have paid $25 for this all, not $40. He shouldn't have paid ANYTHING actually it was 1:00am and "OPEN BAR" was supposedly in effect. "Yo man I'm supposed to get $75 back, why you takin my money?" Bartender: "Hey, it is what it is." (starts dancing to the music and disregarding further discussion on the subject). My boy is fuming. Atop all this, there are several fist fights breaking out in the club, starting at coat check. There are too many people in the club, and the place is dumb enough to serve alcohol in glass cups and glass bottles of beer. There is broken glass, liquor, spit, and who knows what else all over the floor, drunken people angry, stumbling, fuming at other patrons, and the bouncers are shoving people out as arguments erupt. My brother has a ticket, he is not allowed into the club at 1:30am because "It's too crowded." Look motherf*cker, he purchased an "advance ticket" which should allow him entrance no matter what the case is, these bouncers belong in the dump along w/their lame policies. Guys, this is not the place to bring your girlfriend. Two of the girls in our group were getting casually groped/felt up on their booties and my boy got so angry he confronted the tasteless gentlemen and got kicked out of the club within the hour. So, we saw what we needed to see. This place blows, they do not honor their policies (no open bar, no hors d'oeuvres as promised on their website), and they don't care to let people in who have paid in advance. I will never come to this place, and I'll reconsider partying in Manhattan just because of the greediness of the staff, lack of consideration of the bouncers, and idiocity of the patrons who think "dress to impress" means "let's f*ck up our clothes, get into fights, and get kicked out of club we paid $200 to get into." Tasteless. Not coming back.
