by Mike N. on I'm not the clubbing type, never have been, never will be...needless to say I also don't drink, I truly feel that you need to drink to have a good time clubbing, because when everyone starts acting all effed up and you are sober, you're the only one NOT laughing. I've been to a lot of them with my college buddies while I was in college and then for work parties and birthday parties. But I've never given someone a call and said "Let go clubbin". I came to Blvd3 for an old friend's birthday party and was pleasantly surprised at the venue, service and dancers (as in the "professional" dancers who auditions for gigs not go-go dancers who auditions to go-go). Since it was a birthday, we got table service with a great view over the dance floor. They had a catwalk right through the middle of the bar for a short fashion show. It was pretty awesome to watch. Throughout the night there were dancers on the stage/catwalk doing a GREAT job. These weren't the usual go-gos you see dancing on a small platform, they were actually using the entire area...one of them actually did part of the Beyonce Single Ladies dance when the song came up. The DJ that night was DJ Sleeper, is was a pretty awesome mix he had going. Now to any Go-Go dancers reading this (Like Gina). I'm not saying that you are not professional, I'm saying that there are many who aren't and I've gotten bored and grown tired of them. This was definitely different in a good way.
by Rob N. on -excellent atmosphere -very diverse, 25 and up crowd -there were 2 djs: one obviously sucked, but the other was really good -but enjoyed the reggae music :) -live drummer accompanied the music, which is a plus on the dance floor -great service at the bar, the sangria was pretty good and all of the drinks aren't overpriced
by Ervin Keeley on Heated Pool! A heated pool! The rooms are clean and spacious, even the balcony was huge... I am sure there are a few wusses who are intimidated by the location, but i never had a problem, free parking is also a very good amenity. They have a bar/restaurant that was closed so i reserve judgement, however I am taking one star away b/c they charge for wifi.
