We went on a Saturday night after wandering around the Meatpacking District following dinner across the street at Ajna Bar. This club is SOOO overhyped. The place was so packed that I kept getting pushed around ... NOT cool. I felt like a sardine. The DJ was also playing a lot of house/techno, which is not my cup of tea. I am West Indian, my friend is Indian and my other friend is black. We were the ONLY women of color in the club. I have read other negative reviews from people of color about this club and I have to agree. Other NYC spots that we had been to on Friday and earlier Saturday night were very diverse and the DJ was on point. We left after 30 minutes and I would not go back, even if you paid me. We went next door to STK and enjoyed a drink and some space. A bouncer told us that we should have gone to Tenjune Friday night, because the DJ was on fire that night. I will have to take his word for it.

This is where the party people end up! We told the boyfriends that we were going to dinner at a restaurant that had many pretty girls. We skipped the part that these women possibly were not born the same sex. If I didnt omit information, my boyfriend would've have gone with us to Asia SF. They host many birthday and bachelorette parties here. A newly-divorced party was sitting right next to us! There's a party for everything nowadays! As my bf scans the room, he whispers in my ear, "babe, i think she's a dude." I shake off his comment by replying, "I cant believe you can say that about someone. That's plain rude!" The waitresses end up being part of the show. We ordered the set menu. I was not pleased with the food but the show was alot of fun. Our married friend was pulled up on stage to do a pretty naughty act with one of the performers. Luckily, we got that on video so he cant deny his face was in a man/woman's crouch area for a good minute.

I would definitely return to B&B as I had a great time. I am giving this three stars because service and the food qualilty have plenty of room for improvement. The service - My biggest complaint by far. We were seated for 20+ minutes before anyone came and took our drink order. I tried ordering at the bar, but they ask you to get served at your table. When our waitress finally made it over she was wonderful. Other than timeliness, I had no complaints. they were clearly severely understaffed. Food took a while, second round of drinks was quite a wait as well. Food - I did enjoy the food, but there is definitely room for improvements. We started with the fried calamari and yam fries, followed by jambalaya and fried chicken salad. Everything was tasty, but nothing special. The music - Absolute blast! We had a great time. By the end folks were up dancing in any area that would allow them. The venue - Another reviewer mentioned the layout resembled the punchline, and it does. The tables are a bit cramped but it didn't bother me too much. The process - We weren't sure how the dinner and music worked (we booked on opentable), but a quick call to the venue cleared it up. We paid $17.50 per ticket to get in for the Saturday 8pm show. They recommended we get there before 8 to get seated and ordered before the show started. Food and cocktails were served throughout the show, and we had the option to stay, at no additional charge, for the 10pm show.
