Great concept, the view is lovely, people are friendly, alil scary mixing alcohol on a boat, but other than that its pretty neat....

What a great event!  I refused to go to the museum during the daytime when a bunch of kids and baby stroller pushing parents are in the place.  Instead I would rather be there when a bunch of 20 to 30 somethings walking around with cocktails, and DJ music blaring. The venue is the best!  The museum exhibits are so cool!  Yeah the drinks may be a bit more than you want to pay but common how often do you get to enjoy the museum with a cocktail in hand.  I suggest buying tickets in advance on line to avoid waiting in lines.  Once inside the only line you really have to wait in is the rain forest.  And for that I might suggest going into it first.  It brings you up to the top, you walk down and finally the elevator dumps you into the basement.  Here you pick up your first cocktail and enjoy the amazing underwater scenes. What a great first date for anyone who is lucky enough to have one.  Check it out you will be happy you did!

Loved this place. Hidden right off in the outskirts of the SOMA, this place is hard to find. The only thing that pointed us out was the bouncer that was standing outside. Went here for a friend's party. Arrived in the rain, thirsty, and to a semi empty bar. It was definitely a cute space. Definitely not pretentious, looks like something you could find downtown minus the wannabe players and platinum blond valley girls. The scene here is def low key, mix of hipsters and hotties. We had drink tickets where in between 9-11pm after the first drinks, the second were $1. The bartender definately was generous with the amount of alcohol he put in our drinks. Then again, it was slow and kinda quiet at the bar. The music was upbeat, house, techno, Euro beats, which I definitely loved. Wasn't where your ears were going to fall off but definitely something you can bob your head to and shake your tail feather to. I love it! Love the location, love the space. Didn't get to try the photo booth, but that will be something to enjoy next time.
