by Waldo Sorum on Our visit to Slide was an accident. We were all planning to head to Ruby Skye next door, but all of us were too drunk to notice that we were in the wrong line. The night we came by, the slide was closed off. Boooo, I was so down. With much disappointment, we walked down stairs to the main dance area. I'm actually not sure if there were any other rooms, but we stayed in one area the entire time. The music was good, and it kept us dancing. However, the bar was always crowded, and it always took such a long time to get a drink. Slide is also incredibly hot and jam packed with people...sweaty people. Hey, I'm not sayin' I wasn't one of them, I'm just saying that it was really stuffy, which made it a somewhat unpleasant experience. Slide is so-so. It's not a bad spot to hang out and groove, but I would never plan any special event here.
by ken t. on Long wait. Rude bouncers. Friends had a table for a birthday and we were on the list. Still would not let us in until the manager came out and pulled us out of line. Then would not let us upstairs to the table until someone came down and slipped the bouncer a few bills. The place is nice but would not recommend on a Saturday night. Crowded and hot.
