I absolutely love Vegas and I love all things Hollywood. The concept of Drai's Hollywood altogether deserves huge recognition, but in all honesty, I didn't have a visual orgasm upon entering Drai's. By that, I mean the place is actually kind of SMALL. I thought the pool area would be a lot bigger, but it was pretty dinky looking and nothing special if you didn't have bottle service in one of the cabanas plus, you couldn't hear the music! I'm sure it'll be great during the daytime, but I wasn't impressed by the actual appearance compared to pictures I've seen. I was there for a friend's birthday who got 2 tables right on the dance floor and was pretty excited because I had been anticipating on coming here for some time. It could have just been the Thursday we went on, but man, the place was not packed at all! House music was playing all night (gag), old businessmen were everywhere, and no eye candy whatsoever. Even though the place was half occupied, it still seemed so small! Of course, our party still enjoyed ourselves, but overall, I was just disappointed with an overly-hyped club that didn't deliver the high energy of a Vegas club that I had expected. If upon entering I was greeted with the sounds of hip-hop & top 40 tickling my ears and some beautiful faces and bodies rubbing up against me, I'm almost positive I would have had an even better time, but I'm convinced that Thursdays are just kind of dead :[ Will I come back for a 2nd visit? Maybe........

I just went to this place this past weekend. $10 to get in after 10pm. We got their a little late and it was still about half empty. We partied on the roof top and I have to say it was cute with a good view of the city. Drinks were pricey at $10 each and the music was just ok. I had fun because we were there with a large group of people but probly wont be back. Since I was visiting from San Diego where there are roof top bars a plenty I still think San Fran has a way to go with their roof top bar scene. Don't get me wrong... I'm a Bay Area girl at heart but this one just wasn't at the top of my list.

i had dinner w/ my friend here last night and then stayed for the music. it was so much fun! the atmosphere here during dinner is really chill. i think bissap baobab is a TAD fancier, b/c you basically sit on folding chairs at little baobab. my friend and i shared the fried plantains, shrimp kebab and a chicken curry dish which were all tasty. their drinks are really yummy...get anything w/ hibiscus juice, tamarind or ginger. you can't go wrong! wed night was salsa night which was a lot of fun! everyone seemed to know what they were doing but me and my friend, but people are eager to teach you and dance w/ you. good times!
