by Drew G. on Very expensive for meager portions. The food was good, but half of a quail and a shot glass of celery soup is not filing. My duck (which I consider an excellent test of a chef) was drier and blander than I would have liked. I could care less about the 'celebrity' chef; and it seems that is what this restaurant banks on.

And theres just such a mix of music its so exciting bachata(live singers) salsa(with dancers), reggae(band), a hip hop room, techno i mean this place has it all its so ALIVE. Its open super late as well .. DOWN is the drinks are expensive nothing lower than 10 bucks unless u get beer and they add tip to everything even cash paying customers, i like to tip what i feel i don't like being obligated! BUT besides that Mangoes is a must when in Miami, and try the Mango Mojito DELISH 10$$ small cup :(

I know it has had many different cheesy names, any yes it's 15 bucks to get in and omg another 10 dollar drink, but honestly what place (club) is not 15 bucks to enter and 10 bucks a drink it's normal. There are not too many place to choose from in Boston to go to, you have your typical Irish bars your dive bars, your restaurants that become clubs at night, and thats it really. So there are not many options. I spoke to the GM personally when I rented a table for my BFs birthday and the owners have not changed just the name has. He was extremely cool and down to earth, they really take it serious in there as to what type of clientel they have. He was very helpful and we had a great night. I did not notice anything wrong with the crowd specifically because we had a table of 20 people, we weren't there for everyone else we were there for my BF so we all had a very fun time. If clubbing is not your thing I would not recommend going here we all know that the club scene in Boston is not some high class Hollywood type of place so were stuck with what we have and have to make the best of it. Anywhere you go it's gonna be a meet market lol what else do you expect guys to do if they wanna meet girls, they have to go somewhere, so ya these places might suck, but maybe it's just not your type of place, but like I said before, not too many options out there so we gotta make the best of it right! My BF and all of our friends, most who came are not clubbers at all or can even deal with the music but the surrounding of your friends makes everything that much more fun!
