by Anh P. on So I am out for a friend's birthday tonight at Sherlock's and since I don't read evites, I don't realize that I need to wear my sweet Lucchese cowboy boots since we are going to Dallas Nightclub. Prior to tonight, I had no idea what Dallas nightclub is. Oh well I drive my Audi over to the lot full of pickup trucks. Now, I like the country. I visit my friends at their ranches and shoot, drive 4 wheelers, etc. Yes, I do not look like I would like the country. Several years ago, I had a blast b-day party at the Broken Spoke. Anyways, on Burnett road near the Mazda dealership, there is a big sign for Dallas Nightclub. In this suburbia looking complex, there is a country bar. Yes, a country bar. I am out on a Wed night and see tons of people there. And I have fun even in shorts and sandals and w/o my cowboy boots. If I'm around here on a random night, I'll have to stop by again with my boots on.
by Jane K. on Well, I got knocked in the head by a chick swinging from the ceiling by a rope. And then a dude with a full Colonel Sam mustache and tight leather pants pinched my butt. And two drag queens on stage asked me to change into something more comfortable. And the naked Go Go dancer stopped dancing for a full five minutes so she could squirm around horizontally on her platform while gay boys ... caressed her. Just another Wednesday at The Box.
by Katelin Silberstein on The food is fine-- not spectacular, but the wait staff is nice and they are quick to bring out your food, which is great when it's 1am and starving. I would recommend it if you crave chinese (not the authenic kind, but the american chinese kind)
