I had the most fun at Mango's during our trip to Miami. The place is vibrantly decorated with flashy colors and blacklights, there is a live band performing Cuban style music downstairs, fun boys who won't hesitate to show you how to salsa, hiphop playing upstairs, and a very lively crowd! The dress code is very casual--we went on our first night in and didn't want to dress up so we put on our bright yellow/teal/fuschia casual clothes and fit right in with the decor. There is a $5-$10 cover, but we ran drunk past the bouncer so many times in the next few nights we were in Miami that he got to know us (and reenacted what he saw of our drunken adventure for us) and was very nice to us and let us in free. :)

The Thai wings were great... and I love the Shrimp Tempura Roll drizzled with some type of miso tasting sauce, so so good! Ask for the spicy mayo on the side and use it as a dip... YUMMY! The shrimp in the roll were kinda small but the flavor was oh so good :) I will go back!

We got to try out Coda this past weekend for a friend's birthday. Please note - this is just a review for the music. Upon trying to enter a bouncer at the door stopped us and interrogated us. "Who are you here with? Why? Where are they seated? What are you celebrating?". Um... it was a friend's birthday. they are already seated over there :points: and my id is real. This left a seemingly bad taste in my mouth. Overall music was good (even though it started late). But the bouncer just rubbed me the wrong way...
