by Daniel K. on first review ever. yea, im a newb. my review is only about fridays, 'cuz fridays are the only days i've ever been here. not bad, not awesome. first of all, don't come here on friday if u're over 25 and don't get along with asians. enough said about that. ok, cover (from a guy's perspective): 10 bucks; i'm cool with that. parking behind the building is 5 bucks. walk through the ghetto ass bar to reach the busby's line. girl's pretty much get in free, from what i've seen. yea, drinks are pricey: i got a shot of patron for like 9 bucks? not exactly sure (don't remember exactly) and i got a tokyo ice tea for like 14 bucks (probably ripped me off b/c i'm a guy, wutevs). HOWEVER, the drinks here are not shady at all. the patron was pretty damn huge, and the tokyo (everytime i go) is very strong. tip them well, they deserve it. Crowd (only friday; read first sentence): ASIAN-FEST. a Lot of guys. probably 3 cute girls total or less everytime. 100% percent of them come with girlfriends that are unnecessarily overly protective, with a boyfriend, or with guy friends that hopelessly agree to be used by said cute girls (because they can't get said cute girls themselves) so that said cute girls can save themselves from unwanted approachers. moving on.... don't know if this is relevant, but whenever i come here i see YT celebs like kevjumba, david choi, wong fu, etc. Now... if you're a girl, go and have a f*kin blast. dance u're night away, go crazy, give out numbers and don't pick up, break a million guys' hearts, wutever. this review is geared toward dudes. if u're a guy, especially an asian guy, unless u are tall and drop dead smokin' or a decent-looking white guy (which is the same sh*t), don't expect any magic. all the decent looking asian chicks come here to 1) cheat on their boyfriends for a couple hours (which means getting their number is pointless), 2) have a "girls' night out," (also pointless) or 3) everything else like release steam/relieve stress, come for their friend's bday party, etc. blah blah (almost as pointless...). I hate to include this part 'cuz obviously it's not the establishment's fault but it's true, real, and this is what u're looking for. I know it. bathroom is acceptable, i've only taken a piss here. no complaining to be done about the bathrooms. pretty clean, imo. they have pool and some other games i guess. i never tried any of that stuff at busby's. rather save that for D n B's. overall, busby's fridays are for: ages 21-24. Asian. pointless fun. strong, but somewhat expensive drinks. 2 bars (one just up the stairs and one in the dance room). fast bartenders (all dudes). danger dogs near entrance for after (4 bucks each). decent music. cool bouncers. 10 dollar cover charge for guys. u get the jist. ok bye.
by Janice F. on Really cute lounge. Music was awesome which I appreciate since it seems like it's a lot to ask for nowadays. The amount of space was pretty small but we managed to get a VIP area which I believe was worth it for the amount of friends I was celebrating with. Servers/bartenders and Cass were all friendly! Parking wasn't too bad either.
