First time here and thought this place is pretty cool. I really like the ambiance and the decor of the place. A really cool social place to meet people various races. They have performances at certain times during the night. Everything is 1920s theme, including the performance. Music is okay, not really my type. When I am not chatting with people, then there is nothing else to do. So pretty much eat, drink, chat and enjoy. I would come back if I have good company with me.

I really want to love supperclub and actually did for my first hour but at the end of the night I didn't leave wanting to go back any time soon. What I did love about it was the bar area and how the design of the main room was to lay on beds while eating and enjoying the live show. I think the next time I go back will just be for the club. Also, the drinks were creative and delicious but I will probably think twice next time about what I order from the bar considering I was completely sober after having five mixed drinks...and no, I'm not an alcohoilc! Four course meal: 1. Breaded scallops and potatoes. Definitely the best dish of the night but that's not saying much. 2. Chilled avocado soup? I don't know how to comment on this but I'll just say that I heard someone describe it as drinking cold guacamole. 3. Chicken or a tofu veggie option. Both were reported as bland and something you could make at home. 4. Cooked mint leaves wrapped in some kind of fried won-ton shell with whipped cream. I could have done without the warm mushy mint leaves inside....kind of tasted like eating tea. The entire night I was waiting for someone to use one of the harnesses to perform some tricks as part of the show. I somewhat got my wish while we were eating dessert......a man hung from the ceiling with 8 hooks going through the skin in his back! If I ever do give this place another try for dinner it will not be on bondage night.....the sight of his skin stretched out from all the hooks is definitely something I'll never forget.

My 100th review! Like others have said, this is a place to check out on occasion because of the similarity of songs played (brit-pop/new wave/early alt 90s - The Smiths, The Cure, The Cardigans). Brit-pop karaoke sounds like a good idea until you hear just turned 21s stammering lines to The Smiths and everyone is forced to smile and clap to continue the momentum of the drunken revelry. The crowd here sometimes gets a bit too packed to dance, but is more mature than the Popscene 18+ / Rickshaw Stop scene. I haven't encountered many frat jerks here, and the coke usage at this 'club' isn't as excessive others (Blow Up!). The only negative is that it gets way too hot and crowded that as it gets later the dance area feels like you're moving further into the shrinking distorted room at the Exploratorium ( http://www.youtube.com...). Thankfully, to burst our personal dance bubbles, drinks are cheaper than normal club prices.
