The positives: - when we got there, we were seated right away despite being a little early for our reservation - sake was delicious (recommendation from waiter) - some of the food was spectacularly good (the rib meat melts in your mouth and the main course salmon was perfectly prepared) - the salmon sashimi was yummy The negatives: - the tables are too close together - when there are horribly annoying and loud people next to you, you can't hear yourself think much less enjoy dinner with your hubby - the rest of the sashimi was a little fishy, and not in a good way - the portions are tiny - they could make portions that are a bit more than just protein (maybe have something starchy/carby on the side) - most important: the service is very slow ... it's one thing to leave people alone and let them enjoy their food & company, it's another thing to take away the previous course and leave them waiting for 10-15 min until the next one arrives. Mostly because of the service, I give this place 3.5 stars because the food really is very good.
