We came here to eat, not dance, which was possibly our first problem. I'd been to the regular Baobab many years ago and remember being much more impressed with the food. My dish here was fairly bland, but too spicy at the same time, if that's possible. I do have to give the drinks an extra star. Next time we'll have to come for the dancing, not the food.

This is the place to be for some good fast food when you're in the ATL. Love the chili burgers and the onion rings. The cherry coke added a nice touch as well.

i went here a few weekends ago, and it was weird. the place is HUGE. there's an upstairs and a downstairs, both with lots of space. the amount of ppl there though, is not so huge... when i walked in past 11pm it seemed like there was no one there. turns out, everyone congregates to the upstairs dance floor, and that place is hot and sweaty, with weird music bumpin'. next to that there's a patio-ish area where ppl were smoking, but being as i don't smoke, i didn't stay there long. i ended up chillin' near the downstairs bar where there were like maybe 5 ppl. overall, it was a lame place. i never like cover charges, and like them even less when they are not justified. the drinks were overpriced and i believe there was an automatic 20% gratuity. since when is tipping well mandatory? esp. when the bartender took 2 seconds to make the drink and then went about hitting on some girl. i'm used to the prices of drinks in hollywood, but adding the mandatory tip is a big turn off. yea, no. pluses are there was no line outside and no line both times i needed to use the restroom, and ample amount of space (aside from the upstairs dance floor) so it was not hot. i think this place has potential... it'd probably be more fun if you bring a large group of your own people.
