Wasted space...needs more seating...and not just for the reserved bottle service crowd. And hello...honey...can we say overdressed? This is not the Oscars and this is not NY or Hollywood...this is North Beach...adjacent. What's up with the red-velvet rope and black-suited-humongous doorman? Is Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton in town or something? Last suggestion: if you're gonna charge that much for some pretty generic sparkling, I say you clean the carpets and the furniture more often to keep up.

High drink prices, smoky as all hell, and shoulder-to-shoulder too-cool hipsters there to see someone "spin" music off of a laptop. Though both the upper level and the lower were amazingly put together (in fact, the top level had the most beautiful bar-top I've seen in the city), it was mostly the people that went there that killed it for me. Give me grit, grime, guts! Not noses in the air and ridiculous prices on the menu (though I hear it's a bit different now. Hmm. I may go back. Maybe.) I don't know. I'd find a place in the burbs to get sushi before I'd go back to this place. That is, anywhere except Little Tree. And if they're going to continue hosting events in the lower level, then I'd suggest more than a laptop and a stool. Why not a Gameboy?
