I use to go to this club every week like a little over a year ago and it sort of died off. They use to have good music and not too bad of a crowd but it was definitely an asian invasion crowd. So i recently made an appearance here for a friend's birthday and was incredible disappointed. They promoted that the place was newly remodeled but looked exactly the same just a funky-er smell. One major thing that change was how they tried to control the flow of traffic up and down the stairs. You were able to go up the short set of stairs to make you way up to the outdoor patio but had to take the long way back to the dance floor. Not only was it the long way but it was horrible for us girls wearing 4 inch heels. You had to take a double step because the step were too wide apart to take single steps. Very very frustrating. Also the music selection was horrible. I loved the old vanguard great memories but the new vanguard failed miserably to re-image themselves. PS: Beware of the bar ... they started to automatically add gratuity to your order whether your order 2 drinks or 10

I went here for "1984" night (Thursday) with a couple of friends. Cover charge was reasonable...free before 9:30; $3 before 10 (?); $6 thereafter. We decided to get there a little earlier since we all had classes the very next morning...the music was okay at that time. The crowd was pretty thin. BUT around 11 things started to pick up. The dj put on some classic 80s tunes (Madonna!!!) and the crowd went crazy. ...a pretty diverse group of people there just looking to relive the 80's ...drinks were okay...i felt they were a little stingy with the alcohol ...bathrooms were creepy looking...i decided to just wait until i got home

Cute name, ho-humm pizza. It's not bad, and it is cheap. I just don't get the canned sauce, flavorless dough thingy going on here in Atlanta when it comes to pizza. Iceberg lettuce does not a salad make.
