by Lauren P. on Zahav is good but what no one has mentioned is that the portions are ridiculously tiny. Apparently it's meant to be Tapas but their $18/dish prices don't convey that. We didn't find that out until AFTER we ordered and received our first selections. Our waiter, who I believe was named James, was kind/educated enough to offer suggestions for subsequent entrees based on our palate. He brought us out two other dishes, for a total of four small plates that accurately fit our tastes. Zahav could do a better job at promoting itself as a Tapas joints so self conscious people like myself don't feel like pigs for wanting more.
by Jon Hospelhorn on to me, this is the best fast food chili dog in town. Only other things I've tried here are the Orange frost drink (decent) and the onion rings, which are not worth the calories. The chili dogs are one of those foods where you have to remove from consideration the fact that your digestive system is going to fiercely protest what you're giving it. I definitely would not eat this garbage before a meeting or in the middle of the workday, but I might just ask for it as part of my last meal. The Zesto's chili dog is pretty close, if you don't want to hassle with the crowd at the Varsity. As for people complaining about the ATMOSPHERE - are you SERIOUS?? I wish all bus stations sold chili dogs.
