This was my initial impression: I've only been to the market area at Parish but what an awesome place. Their pastries are actually very good. They have coffee. My husband got a mocha and it was really delicious. It tasted like hot chocolate...hmm maybe it was. It had like chocolate whipped and sprinkles. We tried two sandwiches, the grilled cheese and the BLT with fried green tomatoes. The BLT straight up rocked. It was so tasty. It had some type of chipotle remoulade or something. The grilled cheese used brie and broccoli rabe, really usual but nice spin on a grilled cheese. I appreciate the fact that they incorporated the greens like that. It's a really cool space. We went back there to pick up some sandwiches for a picnic. I got the BLT and they forgot the bacon. The sandwich just sucked and was flavorless. My husband's food was poorly put together too. SO completely disappointing. I'm not sure I ever want to go back after that experience. I hate establishments that can't be consistent.
