Minus 1 star for them because of a dude named Joseph who plays the piano who didn't even bother to play the songS I had requested! He even took the money we tipped him with. Maybe it's because I wasn't gay nor had a penis. Grr. ASSHOLE. Anyway, 4 stars for the awesome owner named Billy, my awesome bartender Tom (who remembered my name after only having told him once), and awesome yet strong martinis. The crowd is pretty diverse -- when I say diverse I mean homosexuals and heterosexuals. It's a fun crowd and definitely a good place to go to with a few friends. I wouldn't go with more than 6. Tables and seats are hard to find and since your drinks come in huge martini glasses filled to the brim, getting your drinks spilled all over you is mildly inevitable like white on rice.

I'm a sucker for a red bar. Add a wall-length fireplace, low chairs that can be moved around, odd semi-pornographic movies screened on the walls, and a good cosmo and you earn yourself five full stars! Other venues in this part of town (did I actually hear the word "Trendy-loin" uttered or did I just have too many cosmo's?) seem very touristy, but this place appears to draw a neighborhood crowd.

My review is half and half. It would get 4 stars because aesthetically, it is one of the most beautiful appealing clubs i have seen in nyc. Music was pretty good. LOTS of space. MANY rooms. OUTDOORS. Crowd was mostly asian. I like diverse crowds better. UPDATE: I heard the crowds/parties vary depending what floor, night, and DJ it is.
