Yeah this place is pretty great. I loved the decor which reminds me of the bazaar. But it was nice overall. Reservations for 8. DineLA. My group had the DineLA menu but I just ordered from the regular menu. I had the kobe burger with the trio of french fries. The burger melted in my mouth. I was going to get the dinela menu but it didn't have that many choices and I was craving burger at that time. I however got to try some of the dinela dishes from my girlfriends orders. She got the ahi tuna tartare, guiness braised shortribs, and the bourbon glazed donuts. I enjoyed every single dish. XIV did a pretty good job. People at our group even had left overs! But then again, they have a small stomach. Lucky for them, they get to eat it for lunch the next day.

I have two different reviews for this place but first I am going to review the overall atmosphere. I love it. I like that the setting is a park and it is very well put together. The scenery is pretty and I believe tranquil (if you have the time to appreciate it that is or even the space). 1) Restaurant - been here a few times for dinner/late dinner for birthdays, gatherings, etc. and I have to say I liked the service and food and always had a great time. The food is considered to be New American and I believe the prices are reasonable for the drinks too. I like the Sexy Bitch hehe. 2) The Lounge/Club - the pros is that there is no cover and the second floor does have a nice setting especially the part that is semi-outside on a balcony like setting. But the lines are really long and to prevent a sausage fest they let all the girls go in and leave a block long line of guys and slowly let them enter one by one over a stretched period of time. The upstairs becomes so packed that it becomes a mission to get to the bar.

I've been there and I don't think it's overpriced at all. Well I don't live in Erie either and if you know Erie, If it isn't 25 Cent Drafts or $1 all shelf, people think you're gouging. I go to Doc Holidays Country Bar in Erie whenever I'm in town too and their prices are much higher than Boardwalks so I don't get it. Also I like how picky they are about who they let in. I don't get groped all night by guys who usually go to every other bar and bitch about Boardwalk. 5 STARS for this place. Girls can actually have a good time without getting harassed by douche bags all night!

I agree with the previous reviewer. Boardwalk Complex is not only overpriced but very unfair in terms of who the let in and who the let stay. I love to dance, and I have never been asked to leave a bar until I went to Dream Nightclub. I wasn’t drunk, and in fact I was the designated driver for the night. Not only did they kick my out, but a bouncer assaulted me in the process. Now I’m barred from the place entirely, and for nothing more than dancing on the elevated part of the dance floor. By the way when I left the bar I noticed that someone had went through a glass window earlier that night. I’m not going there again simply because the bouncers don’t know how to manage their priorities.

1st off this bar is extremely overpriced for erie pa. Not only that but they ban random people for no reason. They are worse then bigger cities. They also never give you a full shot in drinks and when you ask for a double they give you more pop and a bigger glass. I think this place is ridiculous and cheap. I actually refuse to go there because of their immaturity and overpriced drinks. I'd much rather go down the street and pay $2 for a drink then stay at boardwalk wheres its like $5.

This is a must see place when going to Erie, PA. Boardwalk is by far the hippest nightclub I have been to in the Erie, or anywhere in PA for that matter. When arriving, you will enter a cool small front bar with a corner bar feel. Through the glass doors you then enter into Dream Nightclub, a New York City style nightclub with the illuminated bars, high ceilings, huge video screens and plasmas on the walls. Its really cool to actually see the videos to all of the current favorites (you can never find any videos on MTV anymore). Overlooking Dream is the Boardwalk crown jewel, and my favorite bar, the Dream Ultra Lounge! This place has the nice black granite bar tops and tables with no shortage of red mahogany. The lounge has plenty of comfortable leather couches where you can order bottle service (which is really cheap compared to most places). If thats not your thing, seasonally, the Boardwalk has an HUGE outdoor area called Coconut Joes. Last time I was there Jani Lane from Warrant was singing, it was awsome! Anyhow, there is a huge outdoor bar, like 10 cabana huts and outdoor grilling going on. When Coconut Joes is open, show up early if you want a table! It gets packed. Well, i wouldn’t be a guy if I didn’t mention the girls that work there! OMG MAN! I don’t know where they find those girls but dude! With all that and the cheap Erie prices, it’s worth the 45 minuet drive for me every time! Have fun!
