This was actually one of my favorite clubs in SOBE! I loved it! I thought it was spacious enough where you didn't have gross guys drooling and grinding all over you. Also my friends and I got in free, got to cut the line, and got to sit in VIP the whole night. I loved how the VIP section wasn't tucked away in some upper level or corner somewhere, but right smack dab in the middle of the club, in the center of all the action. It was great! The music was fun too, hip hop was good. I was happy with Mansion, I had a great time dancing the night away!

Bubble Lounge is a nice change of pace from the "club" scene, but I still found it to be pretty average. We got a VIP table here for our friend's 30th birthday. Our table was in the back room and the set-up was comfy. There were a bunch of couches and plush chairs surrounding the table. The only negative aspect was you ended up feeling far away from people not sitting directly next to you since the furniture was so large. Our waitress was fantastic and patient. The crowd...not so much. We had a few guys just sit down in our area (it was our ladies' night)...apparently thinking they were charming enough to score a free drink or get a number. Heh....they were in for a big surprise. We kicked them out multiple times and they kept coming back. I know that this doesn't reflect on the lounge itself, but it would be nice if the bouncers could control something like this. The music was so s-l-o-w. Why couldn't they play something more fun? I felt like I was back in middle school. I felt an urge to grab one of my friends and do the straight-arm slow dance. (Don't act like you don't know which one I'm talking about!) I asked the manager to play something more upbeat and he obliged...but the music was still not recognizable or fun to listen to. We were told that we could go downstairs to dance and leave some of our things/drinks at our VIP table. Even if the music was great downstairs (which it wasn't), I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving anything there considering how people would just come and try to take over our spot even when we were there! Another man across from us (who didn't have a table), said "Hey, no yawning allowed! If you guys aren't going to have fun, get the hell out so someone can use this table." What the heck? Wow, these people are RUDE. Apparently the waitress told us this guy is a regular. The drinks and service were fine....there was a $30/person minimum which was worth it. We also ordered strawberries and chocolate...they were delicious. Although the venue was not my favorite, the girls and I still had a great time. I would not protest if someone wanted to come here again, but it would not be a place I would choose to go back to on my own.
