Wearing a fedora and leather jacket and working in Hollywood does NOT entitle you to the idea that you are better than everyone else. The mean, mean man did not even give me eye contact (i.e. providing me the dignity of EXISTING as a HUMAN BEING) when I talked to him. bluggghh. BLUGHGHGH. No club is cool enough nor any situation in any sort of circumstance warrants being that rude. SUCH a power trip. Well, it's okay.. perhaps they met their minority limit for the night. My little ghetto apartment is 50x more awesome than myhouse will ever be. Take THAT McMeanster!!

They have specials that are quite reasonable (from the web pg): One special (M-Sat., 6pm-10:30pm) features all-you-can-eat vegetable dishes for $7.50. Another deal (M-Sat., 6pm-8pm) features $2.50 tap beers & $4 glasses of wine. Well drinks $3.50
by Skinkton Z. on Why is this bar the best place for a drink in the city? 1) Knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, excellent bartenders 2) No television to stare at mindlessly, only a well appointed, beautifully lit, 70's minimal style bar-so you'll either have to stare at the glowing chartreuse bottles, or actually have a conversation with someone 3) Plenty of room, big long bar, ton's of tables. 4) It's right on the 38 bus line. 5) Don't let the exterior fool you, it's ultra cool inside. 6) Great selection of liquor, local when possible. 7) Excellent music. 8) No pretentious speak-easy, fancy-pants, apple martini type b.s., just real drinks served by real people at prices an average joe can afford. Drink here and be happy.
