by Darrell S. on So last night after watching the season finale of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (it's my thing. . . get over it) - I was in the mood to yell and scream. . . haha. Seriously - I was in the mood to simply dance and have a great time without the extra scene that Hollywood can sometimes provide - so I decided to venture over to one of my favorite places in East Hollywood: Temporary Spaces (5100 Fountain Ave). One of the main reasons I love Temporary Spaces is the simple fact that they do not have a list or line and are just wanting patrons to come in, listen to some great music and meet some intriguing people. All types of people are here from gay, lesbian, rocker, stoner, lovers and haters are all here to provide you with ample entertainment and style tips (as I received upon walking in. . . ha!) Drinks are inexpensive and great! Midnight would be the best time to show up! Enjoy!!

Koko recently re-opened and they've done an amazing job transforming the place. The interior is stylish and cozy and drink prices are reasonable. Thank you baby jesus for bringing me a new place to post up on Friday nights where I can actually get a seat and talk to my friends!!!
