by Stacy T. on Meh - it doesn't hold as much appeal to me as the Vegas location. The food is average and scene are average, but the drinks on the 2nd floor are outstanding. The Bartender was the highlight of the night. He was efficient and poured a proper drink for our large group whether it was a Margarita, mixed shot, or something as simple as vino. We ordered a smattering of everything off the menu. The notable picks were the Chilean sea bass, wasabi crusted filet, and the Chinese sausage fried rice. We also got some sushi, but it was only ok. Service was a strong plus, so it doesn't do that much wrong. I'd classify it as a great place to grab a drink before dinner.
by Olivia O. on Hmmm... Ok, it's pretentious. I've been there a couple of times, but both times: Models, models, well dressed europeans, and more models. Guy models who kicked us out of their section, even though I was invited by a friend to their section. Wow, SORRY. Also small tables and little dance space. HOWever, I do have good memories at Tenjuine: -Good mix of electro house, top 40 and hiphop -Lighting a table on fire, and extinguishing it with orange juice (that one's my favorite) -Starting the night with: "I'm getting sick, only 1 drink for me!"... which led to lots of dancing, several glasses of vokda + oJ, bumping into old friends and spazzing out... then ending it with a dunkin donuts bagel wasted at my friends apt -Dancing on couches. Ok, so even though it's somewhat pretentious, I had fun both times I went! Maybe it's something about the music, cuz it definitely was not the crowd.
by Alvaro Doyal on Been there a few times. During the week it's not so busy (which I normally prefer). Weekends have a good crowd. But certainly something that is consistent - their bartenders have serious attitude problems. IF you can get them to take your order (fyi, waving a $20 in their face doesn't seem to get their attention) I guarantee it will not come with a a smile. The music is meh. And after being borderline insulted by the bartenders, I rush over the Cosmo / Lava and think to myself "why did I even go there?" I just gotta close the door on Door 44.
