by Stephanie D. on I have been twice and both experiences were disappointing. The first time, I ordered Shrimp Tacos. The only good aspects of that dish were the sides of rice and beans. The shrimp wasn't seasoned and taco tasted like fishy oil and tortilia. During my second unfortunate experience, they got the order wrong and we had a back and forth about me telling them that this wasn't what I wanted. Eventually, I got the dish I asked for and it was good. The pricing should be remedied. The lack-luster food is not worth the cost paid. The venue is nice though with plenty of windows and light (during the day). After assessing my two visits to Pure, I'm over the hype. Maybe third time is a charm..
by Tyree Krishna on This is a really cool space especially with the indoor/outdoor room but there are way, way, way too many stairs. I wasn't even drunk and I tripped a bunch of times! Its totally got that Hollywood chichi vibe but the bar areas are small which makes it hard to get a drink.
by Chrissy Q. on I have no idea what night I went to the Cat Club (actually, just learned it was Hot Pants) but I've since nicknamed it "hot asian lesbian night." Hole-e-shit! It was heaven until one of the said hot asian lesbians tried to strangle me after one too many shots of vodka (yes, it was awkward). I got the awesomest lap dance of my life at the Cat Club. From not one but two hotties. I'm a taken woman and so all I could do was stand there and tear up. It was beautiful. Thank you Cat Club!
