yuck, this place is creeper central!! if you are a girl with low self confidence and low standards in men, this is the place for you! it was literally impossible to dance without having 4 different creepers grinding from behind you. at one point some ugly guy literally came up behind me and made out with me from out of nowhere gross. Webster Hall=Sleaze Central. If you are interested in Jersey Shore type partying, come here, but I think i'll just stick to lounges from now on.

An unoffensive opening act while enjoying drinks and dinner on the upper floor. The dinner wasn't anything to write home about, but it definitely hit the spot and wasn't overly priced. How can you beat the convenience (a testament to our laziness) of being served at tables on the upper floor? It provided a pretty rad view of the venue's floor. Downstairs, drinks were easily accessible, there was plenty of breathing room, and the music sounded GOOD. The acoustics were awesome, and after the show the bandmembers were just out there. Yup, this venue manages to attract semi-big names yet provides intimacy at the same time. Sure, the drinks are expensive, but they're good. If you're lazy like we are, go for the food here, otherwise, check out any number of nearby food joints, load up on yo' dinner, and make your way over to GAMH for some good drinks and good times with good music.

Hmmm...had exact opposite experience. The place was surprisingly nice. The problem with a lot of outer borough establishments trying to make it "like Manhattan" is that they focus on trying to make it look cool, as opposed to a good restaurant. A friend of mine told me it was actually good food and service, and he was right. My favorite restaurant in the world? No, but good food and a pleasant evening indeed.
