"Because I'm not a 16-year old from Jersey" I think my response may have been wrong to getting the cover charge back after the girls at the door asked this why this place wasn't the scene for me and my companion. Didn't get the cover charge back after 20 minutes in the club, but whatever, that's understandable and not why it gets 1 star.  It's because I was nearly bowled over by a wasted chick in the hallway, my bathroom stall door was busted in by another drunk chick looking for her purse, and we tried to dance to the Top 40 played by the DJ while avoiding the stupidly overpriced drink waterfalls from the sloppy (underage) B&T crowd. Friday night was probably the wrong night to go, but I don't plan to find out how it is on any other night.  Listen, I lived in Jersey for a while and I don't mean to be so down on the B&T, but the crowd makes or breaks a place, and Tenjune is broken.  Unless you've crossed a river and have your fake ID handy.

I had been here before when popscene was around and saw Mickey Avalon perform, the place gets packed and now it seems a bit smaller, maybe that's because of some bottle service tables that occupy the back part of the venue.  The crowd is still a total mixture of typical club goers, hyper house heads, promoters, and out of towners.  I really appreciated the eclectic mix of house, trance, and hip hop they selected.  The place had an undeniable energy that really transcended throughout the whole place.  The club has that raw feel, with unpretentious club goers, just there to bust some moves on a concrete floor and throw back a shot or two or three.....

What a great space... and it's a good thing, 'cause both times I've been here the wait for food was quite long. I thought the waiters were fine, so it must be a kitchen problem. When the food did come it was decent, not great. Brunch one time, lunch the other. I don't really remember much about brunch - tells you how average it was. Lunch - I had the prosciutto and arugula pizza - ok, but definitely not up to NYC standards - this is NYC baby, wood oven pizza needs to rock. So why 3 stars when the food and wait make it a 2... the place is beautiful. The architect gets 5 stars. Wheelchair access: Very good including a nice bathroom up the ramp. Inside can get a little crowded, but it's not terrible. You want to sit outside though.
