by Gina Q. on I think I will forever love this place for introducing me to Alesmith Grand Cru (don't even try to go out and buy a bottle- much better on tap!) For reals though, great thoughtfully-crafted selection of beer (Maui Brewing Co. Coconut Porter!) and wine for such a small place Like jazz wednesdays, like the vibe- feels very underground and out of place for LA, in the best possible way. Can be a little intimidating (ie friends of friends of friends only hang out there) but whatevs, I like it! also, they give free peanuts and pretzels and sell vegan brownies and macaroons- what's not to like?? :)
by Whitney Laker on 0 stars... There are NO good looking people here... I just want you all to be aware. This IS a tourist trap. Locals DO NOT come here. We avoid it. The food is awful and the service is slow. EVERYTHING is pricey. Why oh why, I always say.... Why does ANYONE come here? But I guess to toursits, that must be what they envision of Miami.... Scantiliy clad women and men, in all kinds of form-fitting, unflattering leopard print spandex, dancing the night away to bad salsa music??!? I think NOT! There are plenty of places on the beach where you can feel like you are getting the traditional Miami experience without having to feel like you're in a circus show.
by Sonya C. on This is my favorite place!!! My fiance took me here the night he proposed. Amazing music.. yummy food! Get the Fried Chicken, nothing else is worth giving up the chicken, and Yam fries, trust me!
