by M o. on This was my favorite place to stay before I moved here. Lots of culture, lots of history, interesting location for tourists. It's got three places for nightlife. Tropicana bar is always fun and friendly. The staff is cool, and the patrons just approach you to start a convo. During the day, the pool is a fun place to hang and it's HUGE. The library bar is also a quaint little place to hang and have a chat with the guests. The lobby is super dark. You can barely see 30 feet away. Teddy's is in here too, which is the club that is impossible to get into unless you're a celebrity. Then there are a couple places to eat inside too. This is all in one place, and then there are places around the area to hang out at like Hilton and Highland, Graumanns Theater, and a lot of other nightlife on Hollywood Blvd. As a tourist, its awesome, and as a local, I still like coming to the Tropicana. Good vibe!
by Heather R. on My favorite restaurant in Atlanta right now. Great value for the quality of food that you get. The tuna appetizer is wonderful - we joke about ordering a second one every time we go. Can't wait to go back!
by Gonzalo Toussant on I came for the Hold Steady show, and the sound was pretty great when we were up toward the front. We had to take off a little early so we moved a little toward the door and it was amazing how much worse the sound was. Really a place you have to be front and center for.
