by Malisa S. on DNA Lounge has to be the worse serviced bar/club I've ever been to. I just moved here and went to one of their cover band/tribute nights a few weeks ago. Right after we walked in, we realized we went to the wrong night and tried to get our money back. It was seriously 5 seconds and the door lady (if she can be called that) wasn't even out of our sight. We asked her if we could get a refund/credit to come back on another night and she refused to even acknowledge us. I informed her I would rateclubs her and she said go ahead. They should keep in mind, the community keeps them going, not their attitude! They might have gotten our cover for one night, but we have their rude butts covered forever. We've made sure their rudeness won't be forgotten by ANYONE we know. I bet they didn't think I'd really pass the word on. Now was one night of showing your power really worth a lifetime of loss customers??? I want to give them negative stars...where's that category?
by Lawrence Shappy on I think this is quite possibly my favorite place to go for brunch. Hag Superior and I took our out of town friend here for Sunday brunch. We had only previously gone at night when it's a full swing gay bar, which is also worth checking out as it's not pretentious and has a fantastic drink menu. But we all left brunch completely satisfied and impressed. When we walked in we got a pleasant greeting and were seated immediately. It was a casual, neighborhood-y atmosphere. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. When my friend couldn't decide between two plates he was able to provide feedback and an opinion on both. I decided to be really bad and went with the brioche french toast. It lived up to the menu description. The three slices of brioche were extremely thick and fried in butter. The strawberry coulis was tasty, too. Yum. It all came served with a side of seasoned potatoes. Overall the dish was fatty fatty deliciousness. If you're in the neighborhood then you should definitely check this place out. And even if you're not, you should make the trip as it's worth it.
