by Taryn G. on Not at all impressed. Way overpriced and although the specialty cocktails were good, not worth the $12-18 price range. Definitely nowhere near modest with their selection of champagnes... if you're willing to pay an arm and a leg for even 1/2 a bottle. We got a flight (3 different Bruts) and that alone was $42... and not even close to worth it. The staff was nice and attentive, but the the place was way too dark of a setting and very pretentious-feeling (the Four Seasons restaurant on Rodeo Drive is more comfortable). We did order a dessert "Madeleine vs Olive Oyl" which was supposed to be "one of the best"... not sure why. Extremely small portions and BLAND. Maybe we would've been better off with chocolate? So, okay... if you're looking to impress someone with overpriced cocktails, an emo setting with a very pretentious vibe, and not-to-die for desserts, go for it. Otherwise, save your $100+, buy a few different bottles of bubbly at Safeway, go home, dress up and dim the lights... it's all the same if you ask me.
by Edward P. on Delicious! I have been twice in the past few weeks. I had the chicken tacos with fresh mole. The guacamole is fresh and delicious. love the atmosphere here. cant wait to go back.
by Fidel Feneis on my best advice: go on an off night. when it's crowded this place is waayyy packed and sweaty and there is no chance in hell you'll get the bartender's attention. last time i came here i ended up taking shots from a flask and saw people with 40s. looks like i wasn't the only one who gave up on the bartender. +1 star because once we ffiiinally got his attention he gave my roomie a free pitcher for being patient. so we chugged it and went to bitter end.
