by Jack C. on I danced with the Green Fairy at he East Side Showroom and it was fantastic!! I felt like venturing out and trying some place new. Well after wondering into this little gem of a watering hole I sat myself at the bar and and ordered a Death by Afternoon. The green fairy took my hand and we enjoyed some tasty formagge with a whole baguette whilst listening to the East Side Dandies blow out some fine tunes!! The hipster kiddies jumped up and put on a show with their Lindy hop dashing and diving. I ventured away from the wormwood to try the four whiskey corners of the world made by Hudsons. From the New York whiskey to the Manhattan Rye I was flying high. The stand up bass and the quick playing banjo really made this first time visit a grand dandy of a time.
by Chantel Tischler on I read a couple of the reviews below, and I have to say that I dont really agree. I went there with approximately 15 people on Halloween. We were on the guest list and all got in with no issues, we didnt wait very long either. The club itself is very nice, but extremely HOT, the heat in there would have to be my only complaint about this place, hence my 3 stars.
by Lindsey S. on I adore Rouge... The first time I went, I had a blast... And every subsequent time has been just as good. Rouge has gotten me through some weekend funks with their awesome (and gorgeous!) bar, usually quick (and hot!) bartenders, super sweet promoters, and great music (usually)... The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of a) the bathroom line (so long, you're way beyond doing the peepee dance when you finally get to pee), and the drink prices (a little steep but worth it)... I suggest checking out Rouge at least once and staying the whole night before you decide it deserves a negative review.
